Setting Goals for the Next 90 Days

Now that we’ve had a chance to reflect on our performance during the 2024 CrossFit Open, it’s time to turn our attention to the future. Setting goals for the next 90 days is an essential step in our journey towards continued growth and improvement.

When setting goals, it’s crucial to make them specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART). Instead of vague aspirations, such as “get fitter,” aim for concrete objectives like “improve my Fran time by 30 seconds” or “increase my max snatch by 10 pounds.”

Consider the strengths and weaknesses you identified during the Open and use them to inform your goals. If you struggled with gymnastics movements, focus on improving your pull-ups or handstand push-ups. If endurance was a challenge, set a goal to run a faster mile or complete a longer rowing distance.
